The cozy Christmas concert 5.12 at 6 pm
Christmas concert with Jannike Sandström, Tomas & Maria Höglund and others. We sell coffee with snacks between 5 pm and 6 pm and during the concert break. Also selling pastries, lottery tickets, etc. to benefit the parish's activities, 15% goes to the diaconate.

Our church building is called Bethlehem Church and is located on the corner of Kirkkotie and Yhtiöuntie. We are a medium-sized Finnish-Swedish free church congregation that meets every Sunday for worship and for various small groups during the week.

Services are usually held on Sundays at 11 am. Sunday school is held every second or third Sunday. Please check the schedule here or follow us on Facebook. Sunday school meets every second or third Sunday. Bible stories are introduced through games, crafts and singing. Sunday school is during the summer holidays from May to August.

Renting space at the church? Bethlehem Church has several spaces for small and large groups that we can rent during the day, evenings and weekends if available.

Parish hall: meetings 130 euros / more than 3 hours: 180 euros Birthdays and other parties: 180 euros

For weddings 280 euros (only church hall)
For weddings: 800 euros (church hall + parish hall)
For funerals: 220 euros (church hall) + 130 euros (parish hall). You can rent either the church hall or the church hall and parish hall, if you have coffee there afterwards.

History

The consecration of the Bethlehem Church was celebrated on June 10, 1917. The building was financed by a collection. The architect was Atte Willberg and the builder was Emil Lindstedt.

On the same plot of land is a children's home, founded in 1912 by Karl Hurtig, a Methodist pastor from Helsinki. Together with the station building, the youth center (former local school) and Kauniala, the church is one of the oldest public buildings in the city.
